Man Card…..ARH,ARH,ARH!

ROFL……I always have trouble making “man” cards.  When I saw the “Gus” digital images at Bugaboo I knew these would make great man cards!

I think my Dad would have gotten a kick out of this one!  I finally got my Bakers cord I bought on EBay……They didn’t know what I was talking about at Michaels!!!  Now I have 8 colors!!!  How something so simple can make me happy! (Although I would be extremely happy with an IPad!!!) LOL!

That’s it from me for a couple days, I have to work the weekend.

Donate to Japan!

Morning everyone!

Today I have a card for you using an image from Mo’s Digital Pencil.  This sweet little image is being sold for only a dollar.  proceeds are going to money being raised for relief in Japan.  You get a wonderful image and are doing a wonderful thing at the same time!

In The Garden

Hi!

Hope everyone is doing fine!

I am very happy to report I finished washing walls on the main floor today.  I will be heading downstairs next week to start washing down there.

If it ever warms up I will be ready to start painting!!!!

I did find the time today to make a card.  I work very hard for craft breaks…ROFL!!!  Anyway here is a card I made using an image from a set called “ In The Garden” from Clip Art Fairy.

Isn’t she cute!!!!

Sassycheryls Use Something new Challenge

Hi everyone!  It is challenge day at Sassycheryls Challenge Blog today.  Our challenge is to make a card using something new. This worked out great for me because I just got my order from MFT’s!  I have used my new Die-namics die  1/4 in. rosette.

Challenge Day at Sassycheryls!

Hi everyone……I”M BACK IN MY CRAFT ROOM!!!!!!!!!  Yipppeeee!!!!  But if you had been here last week you would have had a good chuckle!
I was sooooo needing to make a card during the floor reno.  It was crazy.  I went to my craft room to see if there was something to at least color ( all my paper and embellishments were stacked in the basement).  Well I saw that our challenge this week is to make a card having to do with nature.  So I colored a new image then figured how hard could it be to find what I need downstairs right?  WRONG!!!!!!!  I had to crawl over stuff to find the right carts with what I needed and it took many trips.  Finally I descided to keep the card simple because I could not locate what I wanted.

Here is a side view.  I printed the image twice so I could cut out the girl leaning on the post.



What I could locate to make my card-

• Sassycheryls Digital Image- The Thinking Spot
• Paper is all SU, white, chocolate chip, mellow moss.
• Copic markers, leaf punch, dimensionals, Rolled flowers I had premade.

I’m Back in My Craft Room!!!

Yae!!!!!!!  I did my purge, washed walls and am ready to craft!!!!  It has been a long week!!!

Anyway I was at Mel Stampz site the other day and saw the beautiful card she made and decided to make one too!  This wonderful lady even provided the digital paper for this card.! The digital image is from Tiffany Doodles.

New Floors Day 3

The front room and hallway is done!  I just love it! It feels so clean already and I haven’t washed walls yet!!!!

Here are two pictures of the room. I haven’t brought up all the little things yet. I just might wait till I get the walls washed. I should take a picture of all the stuff in the basement waiting to come up!!!!!  A person has too much stuff!!!!!!!!

Last but not least….all the stuff that has to come up!!!!!

New Flooring- Day 2

Well another day and one more step closer to the end!

Today the lino went in to the kitchen, bathroom and back entry.  All that is left to do is some caulking and the toe kicks in the kitchen and bathroom.  Tomorrow they will be starting the wood floors!!!

I will sure be glad when I get the bottom cabinets done!!!!!

There is all the flooring going into the rest of the house!

Last but very important…..the “THRONE” room!

New Floors Day 1

Well today starts the installation of my new floors that I have been dreaming off for the last 3 years!

Today the sub floor was installed in the kitchen, back entry and bathroom.  The lino is here and is warming up ( it is –29 today!).  It will be installed tomorrow.

Now to explain something……I am kind of working in the wrong order but it can’t be helped. LOL!  I will be sanding and refinishing the bottom cabinets to match the uppers.  I tried the idea of having the upper cabinets a different color from the bottoms (I watch too many decorating shows!!).  I have lived with it for 2 years and have never been happy with it so I am going to have all white!!!

I also pulled out the railing that divided the dinning area from the front room one day when Harry was at work.  You can see the patching on the end of the wall in the center.  Needless to say he was “very” surprised when he got home.LOL!

My Mess!!!!

Good morning everyone!

Well here I sit…..starting to get the shakes, sweating, and out of sorts!!!   Could this be with drawl??????  From what you might ask???????

I CAN’T DO ANY CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!  That’s right….my craft room is torn apart!!!!!!  That’s not all…..the whole house looks like this!!!!  On Monday the guys are coming to install all new flooring in our house!!  I will be so glad when this is all done!!!!!!  We have been living in a mess for the last month getting ready for this!!!!
