Squigglefly Challenge #47

Happy Monday everyone!  Welcome to another challenge.  This week is my turn to challenge the team and anyone else who would like to play.
It took some thought as to what my challenge would be.  Then while talking to my grand daughter on the phone it hit me.  She was asking for me to make a “Princess card”.  I said I would and then I came up with the idea of a bookmarker instead.  This was she can use it; she loves to read!
Here is what I made for her-

Another Slice Flower!!

Hi!  Like I said in my previous post, I am having fun making my own flowers!  This flower is made with 3 different sized flowers.  They are crushed, rolled and crushed again till the paper is soft.  When you do this you will notice the paper starts to split in two. Very carefully split all three flowers. You will also notice the inside of the flower looks like suede.  Place 6 layers on top of one another with the inside of the paper facing up and from large to small flowers. Hold together with a brad and then arrange petals the way you want.
Here is a picture of the card I made with this flower.  The sentiment I used is one of the first rubber stamps I bought over 15 years ago!  I am using this for a Grad card.
DSCF0519-kimrDSCF0519kimr2
I used the Slice Design card Wedding for this flower.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you give these flowers a try.
