Squigglefly Challenge #67

Good morning all!  I hope you all had a great fall weekend.
I worked in my yard to get everything cleaned up and put away for the winter.  This is the most I had been in my yard all summer.  My Husband took care of everything for me so it was one less thing for me to worry about during Dad’s illness.

Here is my card I made for the challenge.  I asked the team to make a card using felt flowers, which is something I don’t use much.

A Sneak Peek………………

Hi everyone.  Hope you are all having a good day.

This morning I received some new images from Holly over at Squigglefly.com.  The card I am posting today is using one image of a set of 4 called Lace Doily.

Now I have a story for you.  I printed the image and colored the flowers and then applied rhinestones to the flower centers.  Turned out it was way too much bling and took away from the beauty of the image.  I took off the rhinestones and tore some of the centers of the smaller flowers…..well that was no good!  I decided to cut the center flowers out and I still wasn't happy.  I reprinted the image, added what I salvaged from the first try and am now happy with the card.  To me it has just enough bling without overkill!!!

After all that here is my card-

This set of images will be available on Saturday, September 18th.

Have a great evening!
