Wishing You Joy

Here is a card using another new image from Squigglefly. I just love this image! There are new images added all the time so come and see for yourself!

For this card I used SU plum card stock, white and Dp. from Costco. The image is colored with prisma markers. The cherries in the dish of ice cream was colored with a red gel pen. I used a notch punch for the corners of my image and mounted it with dimenionals. I used silver brads with my prima flowers and mounted them with glue dots. The ribbon is attached with my EK Success stapler. The the corner piece was cut using my Slice and then I ran the base through my CB using an embossing folder. The sentiment is from Michaels 1.50 bin.

Yes she is so cute but..........................the little stinker gets into my ribbon all the time. She is very particular about what type of ribbon she likes to chew too!! She loves the expensive sheer Offray ribbon ( must be a good flavor!). I have scolded her and she knows she is in big trouble too!!

How can you stay mad at her when she strikes a pose like this!!!!!

Please Please Chloe..........stay out of Mommies ribbon!!!

Look What I made!

I was desperate! I cannot tie a nice bow! I got my Husband to help buy using his fingers but he has arthritis so bad and his hands shake! So much for that! Then while my 3 year old grandson was here he helped me..........but what do I do when he isn't here!!!So.............I thought about how to make one and here it is! It works wonderful!!!!!All I did was cut 2 pieces of 1/2 inch dowel. Then I cut a piece of Mohogany 5 1/2 inch square. I marked where the holes for the dowels to be drilled so they are centered. Then I hammered the dowels in a voila!!!!!
