Sassycheryls Challenge #37

Good morning all!  Here it is…..another week and a new challenge at Sassycheryls Challenge Blog!
Our challenge is to make a card and use some tulle.  Now I have a confession to make to you all.  I have NO tulle!   I used some wide organza ribbon and hope my Sassy Sisters will accept this card.

Here is my card-

DSCF0862-kimr

When I first saw this image, my first though was,”this image makes me feel sad”.  Then  while coloring it I realized why.  I feel like this little girl this Christmas.  I am lost and sad that I won’t have Dad with me………. anyway……. I think this is my all time favourite image that Cheryl has drawn.
The image is called- Christmas Candy Cane Girl
  • SU paper- garden green and kraft, DP is My Minds Eye
  • organza ribbon which I gathered at the bottom of the card, MS border punch, Copic markers, homemade faux brads, clear nail polish for the brads, dimensionals.
Now it is time for you to check out the rest of the teams creations.  Just head over to the Sassycheryls Challenge Blog!
See you there!
Kim

aw Kim, I'm sorry you're feeling sad but it is hard to not have family especially during the holidays.

Oh, Kim, the first Christmas is so hard. Christmas of '05 was the hardest ever for ma having lost both my Dad and my son that year. Do cherish the memories and savor the moments with those you love this year.

The card is stunning. Sending you hugs and warn=m wishes.
