My First Valentines Card

Hi everyone!  I imagine a lot of you are getting ready for a night out to welcome in the New Year but I’m not.  I have to work the weekend so it is early to bed for me.

Today I declared to be PJ day!  I have done nothing..but read, play Scrabble on Face book and make this card!  I have not had a day like this for a few weeks so it felt wonderful!

This is my first Valentines card; I used an image from Karen's Doodles.

 I just think this image is so cute!

What I used to make this card-

• Digital image- Karen's Doodles
• SU paper pink and white, and  K&Company Dp.
• Copic markers, MFT doily die, lace, MFT rolled flower die, pearls, SU oval punch, SU scalloped punch, SU butterfly die, dimensionals and MS branch punch.

Missed Birthday!

Hi everyone.  Here it is, 4 more sleeps till Santa comes!!!!! More  important, just 3 more sleeps till my Grand kids get here.  They are so excited.  It will be nice to have them here to take my mind off of being sad with not having Dad with us. I have his combat boots by the fire place with a Santa hat on them so in a way he is here in Spirit.

Time to get on to my card.  When I first saw this image at Squigglefly it tickled my funny bone.  When I got it colored the caption to use with it just popped out of my head. LOL!

The challenge this week is to make a snowman card.  Gee……..I wonder if Cheryl might have a snow man image?????? ROFL!!!!!!  Cheryl is the QUEEN of snowman images!!! Goodbye to Squigglefly

Yes this is my last challenge with Squigglefly. They are busy putting a new team together to start in the new year. 
This  week is my challenge.  I have asked the team to make a gift card holder, any design.  I wanted to get away from Christmas so I made mine for Valentines!

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!  Well I was sent home from work again today!  No I wasn't bad……..it is this darn cough still.  The Dr. heard me and called me into her office to listen to my chest and wouldn't you know it she heard some wheezing which wasn't there last week.  So after a chest x-ray, I was given a script for antibiotics (again) and sent home!

Here is a card I made about a week ago but never posted.  The image is from Squigglefly and is called  ``Domestic Goddess``
