Stitch it Up at Sassycheryls!

That’s right……this weeks challenge is to do stitching either real or faux on your card.

Here is my card-

When it comes to stitching, I would rather do it by hand, then I know the line is straight. ( that’s my OCD kicking in!).  I guess I really need to practice more with the sewing machine.

As an added touch I sewed love knots on each scallop on the top.

Here is the inside of the card-

The image for this card is called Marlene’s Attitude
  • SU paper, so saffron, white and K&Company DP
  • Paper piercer, quilt thread, plastic flowers, SU scalloped border punch, round punch, paper doily, dimensional, copic markers.
Now head over to The Sassycheryls Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the team have created.
Please join us in this challenge; remember you MUST use a Sassycheryl image in order to qualify for a free image!

Hey Kim...so, I decided to do hand-stitching too so that I could be sure the stitching was straight (I'd seen that in a previous post of yours)....apparently I don't have the OCD personality because mine turned out kinda uneven...and I DID use a ruler! bwahahahaha!! But did I fret about it? Nope...that's what embellies are for! LOL!! Your card is adorable, sweetie! You've colored this Sassy image so beautifully...and the DPs and roses are perfect! Love the doily...and the doily on the inside stamped w/your sentiment is very clever!! I'll be using that idea too! Thanks! hehehe! Hugs. Pat

Straight as an arrow. You are amazing. Ha Ha That's some gorgeous DP and using a doily on the inside is perfect. I too will be borrowing that idea.
