New Cards!

I found out how to make time to make cards…….get a gimpy foot!!!  Not the best way mind you…there was alot of pain but thanks goodness it feels much better today.

So while I was resting said foot I made 3 cards!  Here they are…..

All three cards are using digital images from The Paper Shelter.

 

I love this image!  It is called  Gothica.

 

This image is called The Sweet Gardener.  Wish I looked that good out in my garden!! LOL!

 

 

This is the last card for the day.  The image is called Let’s Go to Sleep.

Lavender, White and Green

That’s what the challenge is this week at Sassycheryls Challenge Blog this week.  Such pretty colors!
I tried something new this week…….pom pom flowers!  Yes…..they are made with bakers cord and a fork!!!

It’s 3-2-1 at The Paper Shelter!

It’s Team A’s challenge this week.  Our challenge is to make a card using 3 designer papers, 2 images and 1 embellishment, hence 3-2-1.

I made a tri-fold card for this challenge.  Here is my card-






This was a fun challenge to do.  Here is what I used to make this card-

• The Paper Shelter Images- Cool Lolly and Punk Lolly
• the sentiment is computer generated.
• SU paper white and rose red.  The Designer paper is from the paper pack called Punk Lolly Paper Pack from The Paper Shelter.
• Copic markers, Slice machine for the flower, button, backers cord and a bit of doodling.

Stitch it Up at Sassycheryls!

That’s right……this weeks challenge is to do stitching either real or faux on your card.

Here is my card-



When it comes to stitching, I would rather do it by hand, then I know the line is straight. ( that’s my OCD kicking in!).  I guess I really need to practice more with the sewing machine.

As an added touch I sewed love knots on each scallop on the top.

“What’s Bugging You?”

Hi everyone!

This weeks challenge at Sassycheryl’s is “what’s bugging you?”

At first I thought I would use an image with Cheryl’s wonderful lady bugs on it…..but then I remembered the image I bought to make a card for my grandson’s first day of school.
I remember my first day of school…I DID NOT want to go!!!!!!  My Mother chased me down the block with the wooden spoon…… what a sight that must have been!

Any way……..here is my card-

• My image is called First Day of School
• SU paper, brocade blue, white and the DP is Basic Grey.
• MFT Die namics doily,Copic markers, circle punches, buttons, cord, ribbon, mini paper clip, dimensional, sentiment is computer generated.

It’s PJ Day Today!!!!!

Good morning all!

Like I said I am having my first pj day in months!!!!!!!!!!  Part of the reason for this is I woke up with a terrible headache………..got it under control I hope!

I made a couple cards using two new images from The Paper Shelter.  The first card is using the image “Walk like an Egyptian.

My second card is using the image called My Little Spoiled.

My First Challenge With “The Paper Shelter!

I am very excited today!!  My first challenge card with The Paper Shelter!
This weeks challenge for team “A” is “Flowers, flowers, flowers”

Here is my card-



I bought this bear image before I knew I would have a chance to be on the design team.  I just think he is so cute!!  The name of the  digital image is  Teddy Bear Picking Flowers.

To make my card-

• SU paper, white, almost amethyst. The DP is from the digital paper pack from The Paper Shelter called Studies of a Witch.
• Spellbinder dies, Copic Markers, MS Punch around set, EK leaf punch, Prisma flowers( I glued several together to make each flower be more full), glue dots, dimensionals and round corner punch.

What’s Your Fold?

Hi everyone!  It’s August already??????  Where is time going?

We were on holidays for a week last week.  We had our 2 grandkids here and we still managed to get the last of the painting (and other stuff) DONE!!!!!!!!!  We are so happy to be at the end!  It took a total of 3 weeks of working our butts off!!!!!

This weeks challenge at The Sassycheryls Challenge Blog is to make a card using a different fold that what we normally do. I chose to make a Joy fold card.



The digital image is called That’s One Big Flower.

• SU paper, white, mustard, dp. from K&Company
• Copic markers, ticket corner punch, dimensionals, flower punch, MS branch punch, small brad.
