I Have been MIA

Hi everyone.  I have been away for a week now to be with my Dad who had been in Grace Palliative Hospice for the past month.
It hurts me to say he passed away Tuesday August 24th.
I have a hole in my heart right now the hurts so much...he was my "rock"....he meant the world to me.  Right now I just feel so lost...........

This is one of my favorite pictures of him and I taken in 1959.

I miss you so much Dad.........I will always carry you in my heart.

Squigglefly Challenge #62

Good morning everyone!  Welcome back for another Monday challenge at Squigglefly.  This week is Maria’s turn to challenge the team…….she has asked us to make a card using “HOT” colors!  Like reds, oranges…. etc.

Here is my card using the Squigglefly set called- Birthday Set.



I used Printmaster Express to print the flowers in colors.  The balloons I coated with clear nail polish.  I like it better than Diamond glaze.  It goes on smoother.

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a great week.  I had a busy one with work and another trip to the city to spend time with my Dad.

Holly sent me some images that will be released tomorrow.  I used this image because we have deer here in the yard all year round.  I love watching them; they are so pretty!  Here is a picture from this past winter.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend.  It is a long weekend here in Canada.  My husband and I got a lot of yard work done!
I was in Regina on Friday to visit my Dad.  He has been moved to the Palliative Care ward.  Thankfully his confusion is going away and is now “with it”.  Now I just want to have him comfortable and be with him as much as I can.
  It is a new month and a new challenge at the Squigglefly Blog.  It is Maria’s turn this week to challenge the team.  Her challenge is to make a card using ribbon.
