Update on Chloe

Little Chloe was spayed yesterday. She was very docile when I picked her up late yesterday. She didn't sleep well and neither did we!!!!
Today she looks much better, is eating and getting into things!

Kitchen Reno Update

Things are going well thank goodness! I did the last of the indoor sanding yesterday. Now that that is done I can start to paint. The ceiling is primed and ready. The upper cabinets and doors are primed and ready too. I just have to get the paint this weekend when we go to the city.
The lower cabinets are all stripped and sanded. I still have some of the doors to do. I hope to finish them on Friday. Once they are done then I can varnish them.
I will be so glad when this is over!!!!! Pictures to follow.

TLC166, 2 Way open Card

Here is my second card using this method. I love the style; a fresh change from your normal card.

I find I am drawn to the bright colors of Cutie Pie Dp by Stampin'up.

Here are the things I used-

Stamps: For a Friend
Paper: regal rose, cutie pie dp., certainly celery
Ink: black
Accessories: CB embossing folder, brads, corner round punch, white gel pen, paper piercer, SU markers, primas

Chloe

I figured after uploading the last card I better post a picture of my baby Chloe!!! After having to put my 14 year old Siamese to sleep last October I didn't think I would ever be able to love another cat. Three months later I fell in love with Chloe. She actually picked me by trying to grab me as I walked by a cage with 5 kittens inside!

Update on Kitchen Reno

Everything is coming along really good. Got the ceiling and the body of the upper cabinets primed. Took the doors off on Monday and Harry got all the hadware off last night after work. I am planning on sanding them outside if it ever warms up enough today!!!!! Monday got to 27C here and today it is only 13C!!

SC171 Happier Because of You

Well today was a busy day for me. I descided to have some fun before starting my painting in the kitchen. I made this card for this weeks challange on Splitcoast.

And yes I did get what I had to paint done! LOL!

I will be back at it on Friday; taking all the cabinet doors off to sand outside!

I found this paint chip and right away knew what I wanted to do for this card!

Had a great day today! Went to our stamp club this am and after that had lunch out with the girls!

Came home and finished working on the kitchen ceiling and am ready to prime tomorrow! Can't wait to have this done and checked off my list of "Things to do"!!!!!

It's April!!

I can't believe it is April already!!!!! Time is sure flying by!!!

I have started doing my list of "Things to Do" as far as home improvements go. It feels good to be back into the swing of things; unlike last year where I couldn't do much.

I am still going to be finding time to work on cards though! LOL! A girl still has to have fun!....right? LOL!

This is a new set I got last week. I love this one. It is very simple to color. Great for a fast card!
