My Fur Babies

Hi all......I just had to share this picture of my fur babies!
Chloe (on the bottom) is a tortoise shell and just turned 2. Hannah is a rag doll blue point and is 5 months in this picture. They have become the best of friends!
I was doing dishes and happened to see them on the chair like this. I hoped they would stay there so I could get a picture and for once they co operated!!!

They give me such joy!!!!

Today she made some cards and a bookmark. She is quite the crafter!.

Tomorrow we plan on making cookies for a tea party in the afternoon.

This is Hannah, my new kitten. She is a purebread Blue Point Ragdoll. She is 7 weeks old. She has quite the personality already! She loves to watch tv!!
Chloe, my other cat who will be 2 in September is not quite sure about her yet, but am sure in time they will be friends.

Chloe is so cute BUT..............

Yes she is so cute but..........................the little stinker gets into my ribbon all the time. She is very particular about what type of ribbon she likes to chew too!! She loves the expensive sheer Offray ribbon ( must be a good flavor!). I have scolded her and she knows she is in big trouble too!!

How can you stay mad at her when she strikes a pose like this!!!!!

Please Please Chloe..........stay out of Mommies ribbon!!!

Not a Good Week

This was not a good week for my husband and I. Tuesday night we got a call the pig barn where he works burnt to the gound leaving 19 people out of work. What is even worse(and something we are all having a hard time dealing with) is the loss of over 14,000 purebread mommys and babies!! What a terrible way to die! Even though I have been assured the smoke got them first I still cry thinking about them.

I have not felt like working on any cards since......even got all my new stuff from SU and just can't sit to make anything. Guess I just have to give myself time to process what has happened.

Have you ever seen anyone so cute??? LOL! Of course I am biased! This is my Grandson Quinn. He sure seems possessive of his pumpkin! Our Daughter took this picture; she always seems to get such good poses.

I really need to get to Saskatoon to hug my babies!!! I miss you Avery and Quinn!

Look what we woke up to this am!!!!! Believe me it is here too soon. I just hope it melts and we still have some nice weather to look forward too before the snow comes to stay!

I'm Done!!!

I am finished all the painting, sanding, varnishing..............................if I see another paint brush I will scream!!!!!!!!!!

It feels so good to have everything done and way ahead of schedule!!! I figured if I could be done by August 1st. I would be happy!

Now I can work on some outdoor stuff and be able to enjoy my summer!

Our Grandchildren

We went to Saskatoon this weekend to visit our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. We had a great time!!!

We spent the morning shopping and in the afternoon we did some garage saleing.

After supper we went for a long walk in the park.

We weekend has gone by too fast!
