Goodbye to Squigglefly

Yes this is my last challenge with Squigglefly. They are busy putting a new team together to start in the new year. 
This  week is my challenge.  I have asked the team to make a gift card holder, any design.  I wanted to get away from Christmas so I made mine for Valentines!

What I used to make my card-

• Squigglefly Digital Image-  Love Showers
• SU paper- white and pretty in pink, SU dp.
• Paper piecing, Copic markers, Rhinestones, MS large heart punch, MS border punch, dimensionals.

I would like to thank my team mates for all their great work!  This was an amazing team with amazing talent! Thanks to my co leader Maria as well! A big thanks to Holly and her Daughters at Squigglefly for giving me this opportunity…….it was a great time!

Good morning! 
Welcome to a new challenge at the Squigglefly Blog!
I am sure everyone now is thinking Christmas and Shopping…..I know I am.  With being sick for the past month, the only thing I have done so far is make my list, but that’s a start right?? LOL!
My challenge this week is to make a Christmas tag using non traditional colors

Good morning everyone.  Can you believe it?……75 challenges!!!!  Seems like yesterday we started this.  I guess the old saying is true……..”time goes fast when you are having fun!”

Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had a good weekend. 
Welcome to another challenge at the Squigglefly Blog.  Maria has challenged the team to make a card with a musical theme.

Here is my card-


I can remember when I was a little girl I used to try and dance like this for my Grand mother.  She used to cheer me on and made me feel like I was the best dancer in the world!!
This image was released a week ago and is called Flamenco Dancer

• SU paper- white, dark grey and Basic Grey DP.
• Sewing is all hand done using a paper piercer and white quilting thread. I also made love knots on the swirl in the corner of the image. Copic markers, SU scalloped border punch,  dimensionals, pearls

Squigglefly Challenge #73

Good morning everyone!  I can’t believe it is November the first already!!!!  Next thing you know it will be Christmas for heavens sake!!
It is my challenge this week.  I have asked the team to make me a card with a removable book mark.  It can be for any occasion.

I made mine with a new image that was just released yesterday at Squigglefly.com.  It is called- Antonio and Snowballs

• SU paper- white, garden green, K%Company Dp.
• Circle punch, MS snowflake punch, Liquid appliqué, self stick snowballs Faux Flower Soft, Paper piercer for hand sewing, SU scalloped border punch, dimensionals, white glue.

Squigglefly Challenge #72

Good morning everyone and welcome to another challenge day at Squigglefly.  It is Maria’s turn this week to challenge the team and you if you would like to join us.

This week Maria has asked us too make a card using fall colors or a Halloween card.

  Well I needed one more Halloween card so that was what I made.



What I used to make this card-

• Squigglefly digital image- Up for a Ride
• Paper is SU so saffron, black.  The dp is unknown
• I paper pierced around the card then hand sewed using quilting thread. I used MS bat punch, MS grass punch, and dimensionals.  The tree was hand cut. I also used Copic markers.

Here in Canada it is Thanks Giving day.  I celebrated yesterday with all the family.  Had a great time!

It’s Challenge day at Squigglefly!

Good morning!
I hope you all had a great weekend.  The weather here has been beautiful for the past week thank God!  Harvest is finally happening here and it would be nice if the weather could last at least another 3 weeks!!!! It has been a stressful harvest this year!
Any way on to the business at hand……it is our 69th challenge over at the Squigglefly Blog.  My challenge this week is to make a Christmas card clean and simple….
 
Here is my card-



The image I used is from last year.  I love the Shy Bears so much.  The image is called  Shy Bear Holly Jolly Bear.
I used SU white and real red paper.  I used Copic markers and Prisma color pencils with Gamasol. The sentiment is from SU’s warm Words.  I also used Spellbinder dies and and round glitter balls.

Good morning all!  I hope you all had a great fall weekend.
I worked in my yard to get everything cleaned up and put away for the winter.  This is the most I had been in my yard all summer.  My Husband took care of everything for me so it was one less thing for me to worry about during Dad’s illness.

Here is my card I made for the challenge.  I asked the team to make a card using felt flowers, which is something I don’t use much.

Good morning everyone.  Well I am back…….trying to get on with my responsibilities.  It has been a very hard summer.  Did a lot of traveling to the city to be with Dad as much as possible.  Between that and work life was pretty stressful!
I would like to take the time to thank both Squigglefly and Sassycheryls for their support during this time.

Squigglefly Challenge #62

Good morning everyone!  Welcome back for another Monday challenge at Squigglefly.  This week is Maria’s turn to challenge the team…….she has asked us to make a card using “HOT” colors!  Like reds, oranges…. etc.

Here is my card using the Squigglefly set called- Birthday Set.



I used Printmaster Express to print the flowers in colors.  The balloons I coated with clear nail polish.  I like it better than Diamond glaze.  It goes on smoother.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend.  It is a long weekend here in Canada.  My husband and I got a lot of yard work done!
I was in Regina on Friday to visit my Dad.  He has been moved to the Palliative Care ward.  Thankfully his confusion is going away and is now “with it”.  Now I just want to have him comfortable and be with him as much as I can.
