Sassycheryls Challenge #66

This week our challenge is to make a gift card, tag or box using a wonderful digital image of our choice from Sassycheryls.com.  I used one of Cheryl’s newer images found here.
It doesn't show up well but the yellow parts of the butterfly’s wings have glitter on them. Here is a side view to show I layered the wings.

Here is the inside of the card where the gift card is put.

What I used for this card-
  • Funky Butterfly digital image
  • SU white and brocade blue paper. DP by Making memories.
  • Paper piercer and thread to hand sew around the DP and on the image.  Button, Bakers cord, Copic markers, black and white gel pens, glue dots, dimensionals, SU scalloped border punch, stickles.
  • sentiments are SU.
Thanks for stopping in to see me today.  Now go see what the rest of my team mates have created at the Sassycheryls Challenge Blog.
Bye for now!

Sassycheryls Challenge 64

Good morning everyone!  The weeks are flying by way to fast for me…seems like I just did a post LOL!
This week we have been asked to make a card  with the image on kraft paper.  When I printed mine, my first thought was will my Copics work on this…..the answer was no…….so I pulled out my Prisma color pencils and they worked perfect.  It has been awhile since I used them!

Here is my card using the image Artificial Flower Girl

What I used
  • Kraft paper, SU mellow moss, K&Company DP.
  • lace, bling, Prisma pencils, stickles, MS corner and border punch set, Spellbinder dies, dimensionals and glue dots.
Time now for you to travel to the Sassycheryls Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the Sassy Girls have made. We invite you to join in our challenge as well.  Just make sure you use a Sassycheryl Image!!!
That’s it for me!  Have a great Day!
